Saying For Today: You know, there may be more love in the apparent failure to love than the apparent success to love.

We can make love into some huge project - even huge and holy -, and we can work at it really hard, and feel great that we succeeded or miserable that we failed. I prefer to think it is simple, and we need not give much attention, if any, to what others would call our failures in love. Indeed, question the nonsense oft propagated about love. Seek to see love afresh, by questioning what you have been told.
You know, there may be more love in the apparent failure to love than the apparent success to love. If you have not thought of that, give it some attention, please.
But, now, back to the simplicity of love in Love Itself. How difficult is it to love someone or something? So what, others do not esteem you efficient in loving. Love really is not, has never been, about being efficient, has it? And there is no love test. There is no one, including some "God," grading you. And no one is an expert at loving. Simply begin where you are each day and love someone or something, and welcome someone or something to love you. And end the day being thankful that you loved and were loved that day.
